Help with school fees for a deserving kid

Hi, I'm Vibeke. I live in Cape Town with my husband and two children. We also have a housekeeper who lives with us along with her two sons.
My youngest daughter Sophia is 6, and Ndivelele, our housekeeper's son, is the same age.

Ndivelele was originally staying with his aunt in the rural Eastern Cape but was subject to neglect, inadequate schooling and little to no support. He was often left alone all night or during the day. He did not have a good start in life.
His mother and I arranged that he move to Cape Town to stay with us.

Our area has a primary school called Sweet Valley primary, and many families in our area moved here to get their kids into the school as it has an outstanding reputation and history. It's not an easy school to get into.

When the time came for me to apply for my daughter to be admitted to grade 1, I also applied for Ndivelele on the off chance that we would be lucky and get him in. We were so happy and surprised to learn that he has been given a place.

It will make a HUGE difference in Ndivelele's life to go to this school, as opposed to a rural or township school. It will mean that he will be well placed to move onto a good high school and university. In turn, this will make a massive difference in his mother's life too.

We are looking for help to cover Ndivelele's school fees and uniform expenses for the coming year starting January 2024. The monthly school fees are ZAR3300 (South African Rand), which at the time of writing this is US$170 or EUR162 or GBP139 per month.
The fundraising target we have set will cover school fees for the entire year of 2024.

We live in one of the most unequal countries in the world, where my kids get to attend world-class schools with incredible facilities, while underpriveledged children receive an inferior education that does little to nothing to ensure a prosperous life ahead.

I want to do everything I can so that Ndivelele can have the same opportunity as my daughter Sophia. Any help that we receive will go directly towards Ndive's school fees and stationery/uniform expenses.

Pictured is Ndivelele, and also Ndivelele and my daughter, who are virtually siblings at this stage and call themselves 'twins'.

Please help me make a massive difference in this great boys' life and in turn that of his family.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Every little bit helps.
