The Voice of the Cape

The Voice of the Cape Radio is a community based broadcaster which came to life in 1995 after the dream for a Muslim community radio station was realised. VOC became the first Muslim radio station in South Africa when a special events license was granted in January 1995 to highlight the month of Ramadan.

Since inception, VOC has strived to provide an alternate voice to the masses and assist in many community initiatives across the board. The VOC studio currently occupies a humble space at 2 Queens Park Avenue, Salt River, Cape Town.
