I had to have an Emergency C-Section, due to Placenta Previa, at 27 weeks into my pregnancy.

 

She was born with a shortened Achilles tendon. She had an operation to lengthen the tendon when she was 2 years old. At first, we thought the operation helped, but as she grew, the muscle tension in her lower leg worsened.

 

She has chronic spasms in her left calf muscle, the muscle is rock-hard. This causes her to walk on the front part of her foot, with a bent knee, causing her to limp. She cannot use her foot muscles to wiggle her toes or to pull her foot upwards.

This is affecting not only her ability to walk but also to run play, ride her bicycle, do sports and dance, which she loves to do.
