FSA exchanging student Campaign

I am 15 years old and will be celebrating my 16th birthday in Germany God willing and with your support. I have the opportunity to be an exchange student going to Germany through the FSA youth exchange program. My family has supported me in pursuing this dream so that I can go to Germany from December until January 2023, however I still need financial support to make my dream a reality.

Please help me by donating something in monetary value. 

The exchange program makes it possible for me to learn something of the customs and culture, both being the guest in Europe and the host in South Africa and vice versa. These are relationships built and many remain lasting for generations to come.

Math, Physics and IT are my favorite subjects, and I would like to go into the engineer industry where I plan to enroll to do my post-graduate studies in Germany. I have a very broad knowledge and I believe I would find it interesting, exciting and enlightening to visit Europe. I believe that this exposure will not only broaden my knowledge, but also my wisdom and improve my German verbal skills.

The aim to achieve my goals holds immense significance for me as it's not only about discovering new cultures, but also about taking a step forwards independence and personal growth. Although my parents will be sponsoring a part of this trip, I'm determined to help with fundraisers for this journey as a means of furthering my sense of responsibility and self-sufficiency. Your donations can help fuel everything from flights and visas to snacks and souvenirs, turning me into a global extraordinaire.

From Cape Town to Johannesburg. Johannesburg to Doha, Doha to Frankfurt and back to South Africa

-Train and bus tickets

From Frankfurt airport/train station - the different transfers in between cities to get to my guest family.

I'll be going to school on a daily basis, so I need to take a bus and/or train from my house to the school and back.

-Visa application and travel insurance and any unforeseen financial obstacles that may arise that wasn't taken into consideration.
