Tim and Amanda Platt security aid Campaign
On the 17th August my mom Amanda and dad Tim Platt were brutally attacked in the garden cottage that they live in on a farm in Table Mountain , KZN . The incident took place around 1:45 am. The attackers entered the house by breaking down the front door and security gate , as well as a window and burglar bars. Amanda was beaten with a bolt cutter and lead pipes and eventually stabbed with a spear.We are making an urgent plea for funds to assist Amanda and Tim who are financially destitute so the they can upgrade their security as moving from the cottage off the farm is not a financial viable option .
An upgrade on security is essential we need :
- Security beams around their house
- an alarm for in the roof incase someone want to gain entry that way
- Inverter for when the electricity goes off
- 2 cameras for inside the cottage incase someone wants to come in
- a fire extinguisher incase someone wants to start a fire
- a radio so that they could contact neighboring farmers
