A Step Closer to Graduation Campaign
Dear Friends and Supporters,
I hope this message finds you well. My parents are not aware yet I am doing this but I want to help them n any way I can. So I want to share a part of my journey with you and ask for your support in a time of need.
My name is Zandile Mdletshe, and I am a journalism student at Rosebank College here in Durban and like many, I have faced some unforeseen challenges. In 2020, my family experienced a significant setback when my father lost his job. This unexpected turn of events placed a heavy financial burden on my mother, a single mom who has been working to support all her children, including my education.
During this time, I've also been dealing with my mental health challenges. It was something I kept to myself, not wanting to burden my family further. However, it affected my ability to focus on my studies and led to a delay in my graduation.
But I'm determined to turn things around. I believe education is a pathway to a brighter future, not just for me but for my family as well. My goal is to complete my studies, graduate, and take on the responsibility of supporting my mother, who has sacrificed so much for me especially with her nearing retirement.
This is where your support can make a world of difference. I'm humbly asking for donations towards my student fees. Your contribution will not only help me finish my education but also alleviate the financial stress on my mother.
Every donation, no matter the size, will be a step toward achieving my dreams and freeing my mother from this burden. I am immensely grateful for your kindness and support.
Together, we can make a positive change in our lives, and I promise to pay it forward by being the best version of myself, both academically and personally.
Thank you for being a part of my journey, and for helping me make a brighter future possible for my family.
All donations will be immediately transferred to the school. It is approximately R5000 per module. If you would like to donate directly to the school, that would be so greatly appreciated.
