Take a look at a few of our festive campaigns over the years.
- In 2019, Porky’s People, launched a campaign to purchase gifts for 25 abused and neglected children from Thandi House, a registered non-profit children’s home in Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Setting a small target of R5000, Porky’s was able to spread Christmas cheer with their crowdfunding initiative. Returning in 2020, they set up a new campaign to buy gifts for the children of Juno Aurora Children’s home.
- St. Joseph’s Home, a intermediate paediatric care facility in Cape Town that cares for 175 children, set up a Christmas campaign to host a memorable festive celebration. With overwhelming kind support, the home almost doubled their fundraising target of R10 000.
- Mieke Vlaming, a volunteer at the SA Kinderhuis, set up a campaign to raise funds to purchase the home a new christmas tree, lights and individually wrapped presents for the children, for second year in a row.
- St. George’s Home for girls, that cares for 35 young ladies from abusive backgrounds, set up a campaign to purchase clothes and shoes for the ladies in their care for their 2019 Christmas project.
